Slept in until 7 or 7:30am, didn’t check. Not quite 8 hours but fully rested. It gave me 3 hours time to get work done before Sunghee & Kaelin woke. Body still recovering from 2 days worth of indulgences so I delayed breakfast for awhile.
Breakfast
Beef curry with sweet potatoes, berries & coconut milk, cranberry juice
We took Kaelin to swimming lessons & Sunghee & I enjoyed a lovely walk & talk in lieu of a CrossFit WOD. A cooler, overcast Vancouver day but still pleasant.
From there we went to Costco for a grocery resupply and dropped some food off at my Mom’s. Stopped by Dunber Library then returned home for a lazy afternoon.
Lunch:
Chicken, guacamole & coleslaw, berries & coconut milk, grapes
It was a mostly lazy afternoon. Watched updates of the CrossFit Regionals, discovered TV shows Wayward Pines & Penny Dreadful online. I loved Penny Dreadful but was alone in that. Down time felt great.
Dinner
Tuna & kimchee with lettuce, berries & coconut milk
Helped proof read Kaelin’s essay. Headed to bed early but not so sleepy. Took awhile to finally sleep.
