When I took on Homeschooling my kids many moons ago, one lesson that always stood out was that “Everyday is a Learning Day”. Whether they did a lot or a little. Whether they learned from me, another teacher or themselves, I always reminded them to learn something everyday. Didn’t have to be big, but something new to them.
This past weekend I took on that philosophy again as I spent Saturday and Sunday amongst my CrossFit peers. The experience in the room ranged from 5-25 years of coaching. The knowledge was brimming and the willingness to share and explore better coaching techniques was bountiful. I found the experience recharging, humbling and fun. It was great to catch up with old friends I hadn’t seen for awhile and I left with some great takeaways because everyday is a learning day!

Mobility Clinic

Mobility Clinic:  Our first session started last night of the 6 week clinic. It’s still not too late to jump in to the class!  Many folks said it was great, the soft music, quiet ambience. The only thing missing was mood lighting and a diffuser!  Sorry Diesel, I’ll get that for next week.

Family Fit

Welcome to Family Fit. This fun program is designed for families to train together. Any combination of children and parents can participate.  Whether it’s a mom and son, father daughter, mom, son and daughter etc.  The class will be a combination of movements that include strength and conditioning, core work and most importantly a whole lot of fun. Families can work together to complete workouts or sometimes they might compete against each other!
Session 1 – Winter (4 days) Ages: 7 and up
Sunday February 18 and 25th
Sunday Mar 3 and 10th
Time: 1 – 2pm
Cost: $299 + tax for 2 people
