The Group Classes faced CrossFit HeroWOD PK in the heat. And it did get hot! Great turn out though.

9 Thrusters @135#
My hands had just healed enough for this. Got the first set of pull ups done unbroken. Then did sets of 7 thereafter. First 2 rounds I went unbroken with the HSPU but had to break up the final round just a bit. The thrusters I intended to scale to women’s weight but in warm up I felt OK at 135# so instead I slowed it down and worked in sets of 3 even though I know I am strong enough to go unbroken for 9 reps. Safety first! Finished 19:15 knowing with a healthy back I could cut much time off that. More importantly, my back felt fine. (-2)

Between classes a busy work day. Had an unexpected visit from a friend. So great to chat. Since opening it is rare that I have time to just sit and catch up and there are many people I really miss talking to.

Had our kids crew in again. They continue to amaze me with how quickly they pick things up and how much energy they have!
After closing I began my walk home and was partway up Dunbar Street when a lady in a mini van pulled up to offer me a ride. Who am I to say no? It was Hard Rock on her way to IGA for groceries:)
Tired but not sleepy Sunghee & I talked awhile in bed before sleep came.
