As you all know I love the every minute on the minute (EMOM) format on training days. And for Sunday we are lucky to be able to work on two gymnastics movements in EMOM’s with a little twist.

You may  have done death by burpee or death by Vader. If so you know what you are in for and for those who have not, you start with one rep in the first minute, two reps in the second and you continue until you cannot complete the number of reps within the minute.

We can do pike push ups on or off an object, shoulder presses, strict hand stand push ups (HSPU), Kipping HSPU, or Free standing HSPU.

When we have completed the HSPU and Rested for two minutes you will move on to the single legged squats also know as pistols. Watch the videos below for variations on the pistol squat:
