Slept in until 7am (-2pts). How tired am I? Stiff & inflamed from yesterday’s carbs but that is by design. A rest day from CrossFit today. Time to allow the inflammation to return to normal. Quite painful to move. Luckily I didn’t have to.
Did 2 hours work, the bare minimum. And nothing else. My work days were short on the weekend but I did work 4 consecutive days so mentally did not feel like a break. Also, my afternoons were fully booked each day so I never felt I got any down time. Today feeling exhausted. Needed to give myself permission to do nothing at all.
Had planned to take Kaelin to a movie but he was sick after his busy cadets weekend so he slept most of the day. I would have liked to get out and walk about Dunbar in the fantastic Vancouver sun but stayed home with him instead. When he did wake we watched episodes of Netflix’ Daredevil and the most recent episode of Game of Thrones.
A wholly unproductive day.
Despite (or because of) doing nothing I was exhausted by day’s end. Turned in at 8pm the only way I can get an 8 hour sleep. Woken several times by sirens but each time slept again quickly. Until Sunghee got home from set around 9pm. Then I was wide awake and couldn’t sleep again until nearly 11pm:( So much for an early sleep.
