Happy Holidays Everyone! Finally, after all the excitement there's only one sleep to go until the Empower 12 Days of Christmas Event!! I can't wait to see you all tomorrow for some festive fun! 

Remember to wear your best festive outfit and bring something to share on the pot luck table. Friends and family are more than welcome to stop by and cheer you on.

And while we call this event the 12 Days of Christmas, it's for everyone, whether you observe Christmas, Hannukah, winter solstice, or another special day in the calendar. Please join us!

Our mischievous Elves (who could they possibly be?!) have been revealing the exercises you'll be doing every day for the past 12 Days. Here is the full list (to be carried out like the song so 12 rounds adding one movement per round. Start from the highest rep movement and work your way down to 1 get up each time. So round 1 has 1 movement and round 12 has all 12).

2 Mountain Climbers (Synchronized)

3 Med Ball 'Goblet' Squats (Shared)

4 Rugby Passes

5 Push Ups (Shared)

6 Partner Wall Balls

7 Hi-Five Burpees (Synchronized)

8 Med Ball Cleans (Shared)

9 Toes to Bar (Shared)

10 Lunges (Synchronized)

11 Med Ball Sit Up Passes

12 Pull Ups (Each)

No 12 Days of Christmas event is complete without thinking of others who are less fortunate than ourselves. This year, we're proud to support the Empower Youth Athletics Fund in association with Harbourside Youth Foundation.

This fundraiser is spearheaded by one of our own youth athletes: Finn (aka F-Bomb). He'll be there at the event to tell you all about the cause.

All donations will receive a tax receipt.
