Coaching Call: Empower Coaches Needed!

Have you always been interested in coaching CrossFit group classes?

Empower is looking for a CrossFit group class coach who can commit to covering 2 CrossFit group classes per week for no less than a one year term. Empower Group class coaches are paid $25 per class.

If you are interested then Empower will cover your $1150 USD cost for one of the following CrossFit Level 1 certifications:

Surrey July 19th-20th

Seattle August 23rd-24th

Other requirements:

• Criminal record check

• First Aid certification

• Willing to shadow/assist a minimum of 12 training classes at Empower

Warm Up

Ring-assisted Flowers

WOD: 5x10 Team Front Squat

In teams of 2-3:

5 x 5 min rounds:
1 set of 10 fronts squats per person

Score = total team volume lifted (load x10 for each of 5 sets) divided by combined bodyweight of team members

e.g. If WF lifted 150 lbs for all 5 sets (150 lbs x 10 reps x 5 rounds) his score will be 7500lbs/205 = 36.58 rounds up to 37
