Future you is Begging: Make Health a Priority Today
“To keep the body in good health is a duty… Otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.”-Buddha
Thought of the Day
Imagine for a moment that we built the first-ever functioning time machine. As the creator, you take the first test drive and find yourself sometime in the future. You have all the wealth and accolades you could ever want. Your family life is thriving, with a loving spouse, happy kids, and cherished loved ones. But—(you knew the "but" was coming)—you are bedridden, reliant on tubes and gadgets, with your health in steep decline. How many of you would trade your current reality for that future?
Finances, accolades, and family are undeniably important. But without your health, how will you enjoy any of these things? Health and well-being form the base of the pyramid and must come before everything else. A healthy body enables you to cherish life's treasures and relationships fully. Yet, it's surprising how many of us sideline this critical aspect, thinking we'll address it later. Common excuses like "I'm too busy with work, school, or kids' activities" often surface. But future you would trade everything to be as healthy and fit as you are now.
We all have reasons for neglecting our training. Will you let those reasons stop you? Or will you stay on track, getting your fitness in order while elevating other important parts of your life? At Empower, our coaches are here to support you. Among Vancouver gyms, we’ve remained open every day since 2015. All you need to do is register, book your session, and let us guide you toward your health and fitness goals.
You and your health matter. While life’s challenges may arise, we’re here to help you stay consistent and on track. If you're struggling to prioritize fitness as the holiday season approaches, reach out to your coach. We’ll help you stay accountable. Remember, your health is the foundation of your life—let’s prioritize it, no matter the obstacles.
