
Introducing the Empower Run Club — and Coach Dani!
This summer, Empower is hitting the beach… running.
On July 2, we’re launching our first-ever Empower Run Club — and you’re invited.
Whether you’re already a runner or just thinking about dipping your toes in, this 6-week program is your chance to move, connect, and train in one of Vancouver’s most beautiful outdoor spots: Jericho Beach.
Running is better together
Our Run Club will be an interval-based running fitness class. It will mix bursts of high-intensity running with recovery periods to boost endurance, speed, and overall fitness.
It's also a fun way to bring people together outdoors, support each other’s goals, and enjoy the simple joy of movement in a beautiful setting. The vibe is performance-driven, inclusive, and fun — this is not a competitive race or a “one pace fits all” program. It’s for everybody.
Sign up solo or register with a friend, partner or your kids — we’ll scale the runs to meet you where you’re at.
Meet Coach Dani
Your coach for the Run Club is Dani, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her leading the way. Coach Dani brings a wealth of qualifications and experience to the role. She is a:
💪 NASM-certified Coach
🏅 NCAA Division I athlete (6 years!)
👟 Semi-professional runner
She also has a Master's in Kinesiology & Exercise Science and a passion for helping people train smarter and feel stronger.
Here’s how Dani describes her approach:
“I’m all about building strength, confidence, and consistency — without judgment. Whether you’re totally new to running or looking to level up, I’ll help you move better, train smarter, and actually enjoy the process. We’ll celebrate progress, not perfection.”
