Thought of the Day
Some days, you are the bug, and some days, you are the windshield. To be either, you must be willing to show up. Showing up doesn’t look glamorous on Instagram, but it’s the foundation for achieving your goals. Amid holiday, work, and life stress, how will you stay committed and show up this week?

Over the weekend at Jiu Jitsu, we had our annual belt ceremony. As an OG member of the club, it’s incredible to see how far everyone has come. I remember when they were all brand-new white belts, struggling to take on even a wet paper bag. Now, they’ve each developed in unique ways. Similarly, at Empower, I recall when many of you struggled with squats, couldn’t do a pull-up, or barely managed a barbell. But look at you now! You’re accomplishing feats that once seemed impossible. If your beginner self could see you today, would they even believe it?

We’re all running our own race, and the key is showing up daily to be a better version of yourself.

As the holidays and life pressures close in, how will you keep showing up? If you need support, Empower coaches are here to help you create a plan. You don’t need to win every day—you just need to keep showing up for the person you want to become.
