1. Weck Method Rope Flow
For this course you will need to purchase or make an RMT rope. We will cover the basic under and overhand swings, the matador, the dragon roll and the overhand sneak as well as some other fun rope flow drills. We will also discuss why rope flow is becoming a mainstay for many athletes and how it can help you stay healthy.

2. Weck Method Coiling
Learn this powerful Weck principle that is changing the way serious athletes train. We will use the wall, bands, medicine balls and clubs to practice developing an athletic coil and explosive release. Time permitting, we will also explore how you can transform bilateral machines like the ski erg and rowing machine into fun opportunities to train your rotational movement. No equipment required but you may pre-purchase RMT clubs (Use Code: EMPOWEREVERYBODY for 10% off.) if you wish to use them during the session.

3. Weapons Master
Joint strength, mobility and indestructible durability through warrior-style training. We will be introducing the basics of clubbells, the double katana and hammers. Clubs and hammers provided, the katanas used to demo are no longer available for purchase but a pair of Escrima sticks or any straight stick with similar dimensions are good substitutes. A pair of matching foam swords will also do the trick.

4. Advanced Kung Fu Stick
The bo staff is WOD father’s favourite training tool for 360 degree wrist, elbow and shoulder strength and mobility. Go deeper and begin learning the mechanics of movements not suitable for teaching in larger group classes. PVC and colour-capped bars provided but, feel free to bring your own bo staff if you have one.

5. Strong From the Ground Up
If you had to pick one movement to train you for a lifetime of healthy, independent living, this is the one you want to master. Stiff, sore or weak. Forget about wasting time stretching, you need to reclaim your ability to move from the ground up. Until you can get up off the ground bearing load, you should not be chasing barbell maxes. Mastering this one movement will bullet proof you for life! We will explore the 4 movements you need to live an independent, pain free life.
6. Fall Prevention & Survival
Gravity is working 24/7. Falling isn’t a question of if but when. Let’s prepare you for the inevitable so that your fall does not need to result in injury or loss of movement. We’ll work on foot strength, balance, breakfalls and rolls.
7. Kettlebell Mastery
We’ll go beyond mastering the basic swing and explore some of the other amazing benefits of kettlebell training, teaching you how you can substitute this tool in WODs to replace barbells or dumbbells and benefit from greater strength and fitness benefits and reduced injury risk of injury.
8. Isometrics: The Forgotten Strength Secrets
A risk-free way of getting stronger. A training secret of the pre-steroid era strongmen, this training method which dates back at least as far as ancient Sparta is making a comeback. Learn how to become stronger and more resilient to injury while investing only seconds of effort. Special bonus: a demonstration of neural priming for accessing your peak performance potential.
