‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through Empower,
The kettlebells rested, the lights slightly dim.
The rowers stood waiting, all lined up with care,
In case members needed to be there.
The barbells were racked, the plates stacked just right,
The gym floor was ready, all tidy and bright.
And I in my sneakers, all set to play,
I knew Coach “The Touch” would open the doors on Christmas Day!
Yes, the gym doors are open for those who wish,
To row, to lift, or do some SLIPs.
No classes, no timers, but “The Touch” will be there,
To guide, to inspire, with expert care.
So whether you join us or stay snug at home,
We send you our cheer wherever you roam.
Get in, get moving, or take time to restore,
The choice is all yours, and that’s what we’re for.
This Christmas Eve, as the lights softly glow,

Wednesday Whip It: Christmas Bites👩🍳

Ingredients (Serves 8):
2 eggs
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of black pepper
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Whisk the eggs in a bowl.
Add the cheddar cheese, almond flour, baking powder, and black pepper. Mix everything together thoroughly.
Roll the mixture into 8 small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese bites are golden brown.
