At Empower Every Body Fitness in Vancouver, we work with adults in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond who want to stay strong, capable, and confident for the long run.

As we age, strength, balance, and conditioning don’t become less important — they become more important.
Muscle mass, coordination, and joint health play a huge role in how confidently we move through daily life. When those decline, everyday tasks start to feel harder than they should. When they’re supported properly, life feels more capable and enjoyable.
The key isn’t random workouts or “just staying active.”
It’s thoughtful, coached strength training that respects where your body is now — and helps you keep moving forward.
Introducing Strong Over 60
Strong Over 60 is a 6-week, small-group fitness program for adults aged 60+ who want to:
Stay strong
Move well
Continue challenging themselves — safely and intelligently
This program is built around functional fitness: strength, balance, and conditioning that directly support real life. You’ll work on stronger legs and arms, better balance, improved endurance, and the confidence to move with purpose — whether that’s carrying groceries, climbing stairs, travelling, or keeping up with an active lifestyle.
Classes are welcoming, engaging, and fully coached. You’ll work hard, move with intention, and leave feeling accomplished.
No ego. No chaos.
Just smart training, good people, and progress you can feel.

What Makes Strong Over 60 Different
This isn’t a watered-down class — and it’s not a bootcamp either.
Each session is designed to support long-term health, performance, and confidence through:
Functional strength for legs, hips, core, and upper body
Balance and coordination to improve stability and reduce fall risk
Joint health and mobility to keep movement smooth and resilient
Cardiovascular conditioning to support heart health and stamina
Confidence under load, so daily tasks — and workouts — feel more manageable
Every exercise is adaptable and scalable. That means you’re always working at a level that feels appropriately challenging for you — not trying to keep up with someone else.

Strong Over 60 is led by Coach Jo (Savitar) and Coach Holly (Salsa) — experienced coaches who specialize in working with adults across all stages of life.
