About Coach Barb
Barb is passionate about creating a community of kids growing together in sports. Through her youth fitness and development programs, she teaches youth self-advocacy and boosts their self-esteem—skills they can take with them outside of the gym into their day-to-day lives. Barb believes that training youth athletes can set them up for a lifetime of fitness.
Barb works with kids who are just starting out as well as competitive athletes and teams. She’s a big kid at heart and loves nothing more than empowering young athletes to be the best they can be.

CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Kids Certification (2012)
CrossFit Level 2 (2016, renewed 2024)
CrossFit specialty courses: Endurance, Mobility, Adaptive Training
Continuing education: CrossFit Teaching Movement (2024), Scaling (2018)
CrossFit judges course: multiple years
In addition to youth group classes, Barb trains adults, youth athletes, and families in either individual or small groups.
