Running, squats and push ups are about as basic and fundamental as you can get but the heroWOD version is too long for group classes. We want you want to master these skills, but 40 minutes is more than enough time.
Today’s workout is a grindy interval-style session consisting of rowing for calories and muscle-ups.
Empower sent a team to the Fraser Valley Throwdown last year and we had a blast. It is a friendly, local competition geared toward us regular folks with divisions designed to accommodate different fitness levels.
The fascia that runs through our bodies is all connected and tightness or adhesions in one area may result in dysfunction or referred pain in another. We're only just beginning to understand the complexity of fascia and its role in health and performance.
