In addition to one-to-one personal training, we also offer small group personal training for couples, families, and small groups of two to four people.

With this semi-private training, you get the individualized programming and focused attention of personal training but in a fun small group setting of people you know.

Our location at 2083 Alma Street (corner of Alma and 5th) is easy to reach by transit and has lots of free parking.

Our well-equipped gym has massive windows (some of which open wide) on all sides, ensuring a bright, welcoming environment, even on rainy Vancouver days.

We often incorporate the beautiful outdoor space that surrounds us into our personal training workouts, using Jericho Beach for longer runs, 8th Avenue for hill work, and the route around Jericho Village for shorter runs and weight carrying exercises.

Yes, we train youth athletes too

Young athletes can also benefit from the individualized attention of a personal coach.

Empower Coach Barb specializes in coaching young athletes and tailors each personal training session to their needs and goals, whether it's to reach the next level in their sport or grow their confidence in and out of the gym.
