Youth Fall Programs Back in Action!
Youth programs are now back in full swing. It was great to reconnect with those that have been away and to watch the athletes welcome each other back. We have both new and returning athletes in all our programs and everyone is making each other feel welcome. It's pretty cool to watch.
We have excitement building in our Elev8 class right now with the pending Fraser Valley Throwdown happening at the end of the month. Four of our teen athletes will be competing and I can't wait to see them in action. They have been working hard under the guidance of Motor, The Touch and myself.
Our Family Fit program launched this past Sunday and we all had a blast. It was everything Med Balls and they all worked up a sweat and partnered up with each other. It is fun watching the families working together and I really appreciate watching Little Sandman getting her competitive streak going. She yells at Dad to move faster!
Our Varsity athletes started off this week with some Sumo Deadlifts. They love the lifting components of the program. It makes them feel strong and confident!
Junior Varsity welcomed 5 new members to the program. We still have room for a few more so if you have an athlete ages 9-12 follow the link for more information and registration: JUNIOR VARSITY
Homeschool PE is back as well this week. We have one spot available if you have a learner on an alternative education path. Follow the link for more information and registration: HSPE
If you didn't catch last weeks blog about Youth Nutrition, please check it out. Shades outlines some great ideas on fueling your young athletes!
Look forward to seeing you at the gym!
