Lift Over Forty is a barbell weightlifting class for midlife women who want to incorporate strength training into their weekly routine.
The class centers on the basic lifts: squats, presses, and deadlifts. We track our progress and increase our weights gradually week by week.

No. Lift Over Forty is designed for beginners and experienced lifters alike. Every session includes coaching, demonstrations, and progressions so you can learn safely and confidently at your own pace.
Yes. Coaching and individual scaling are central to this program. Movements are adjusted based on your needs, history, and comfort level — and you’ll never be asked to push through pain.
Lift Over Forty uses the principles of strength training, not high-intensity group workouts. Sessions are focused, controlled, and coached — with an emphasis on technique, strength, and long-term progress.
Lift Over Forty is intentionally small and welcoming. You’ll train alongside women with similar goals, supported by a coach who understands the physical and mental side of training after 40.
