About Coach Amy

Coach Amy is a Level 3 Certified CrossFit Trainer, nutrition coach, and healthcare professional at Empower Every Body Fitness in Vancouver. Her mission is to help people redefine what aging can look like through strength training, smart nutrition, and sustainable lifestyle habits.
Growing up, Amy avoided gym class and team sports. She felt awkward and disconnected from fitness — until one run after high school changed everything. One run turned into nine marathons, and eventually CrossFit, where she found scalable, empowering training that worked for every stage of life.
Today, she helps others discover that it’s never too late to build strength and confidence. Her own 81-year-old mother trains with her at Empower and reports feeling stronger than ever.
Through her work in healthcare, particularly in brain health, Amy has seen firsthand how strength, movement, and nutrition influence resilience and quality of life.
She believes health is our real wealth — and that exercise and nutrition are powerful forms of medicine.
Amy specializes in helping adults over 40 build muscle, improve energy, and challenge outdated beliefs about aging. Her coaching blends performance, prevention, and practical lifestyle strategies in a supportive, motivating environment.
